Operation Christmas Child
Each year Maysville participates in Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child. Through this ministry, shoe boxes are packed with simple items that we often take for granted such as soap and toothpaste. Families in the church and community are encouraged to bring packed boxes by November 18th for shipment.
This year Maysville has the goal to pack
100 OCC Shoeboxes
You can help by packing a box (or more!) yourself then bringing it to the church by the dropoff date of .
To pack your own box:
- Please visit the Operation Christmas Child website for specific items to pack https://www.samaritanspurse.org/operation-christmas-child/pack-a-shoe-box/
- Please include $9 for shipping. You can write a check to Maysville Baptist Church or go online to Operation Christmas Child Follow Your Box
- DO NOT include toothpaste, candy, gum, used or expired items, food or drink items of any kind, any kind of liquid, medication (including vitamins), breakables
- Be sure to turn in items by the specified time
